Location: The facility is centrally located near business and shopping areas and a large medical center, and is minutes from the intersection of two major interstates. For that reason it is readily accessible to respondents, including all types of consumers, business people, and medical professionals. The airport and hotels are less than 15 minutes away for convenient client access. Our modern building includes free, well-lit parking and handicapped access.

Discussion Room: The large discussion room was designed for flexibility and optimal observation from the viewing room. It includes a custom-made trapezoidal table and expansive mirror that ensure an unobstructed view of all respondents. The table size is adjustable to accommodate different size groups or individual interviews. The discussion room is wired for telephone, Internet (including a fast ISDN connection), and electrical access to allow use of computers and facilitate web site testing. Presentations and screen contents during web site studies can be projected onto a large screen for easy viewing from the observation room.

Client Observation and Services: The viewing room is tiered to provide comfortable seating for up to 15. Both the viewing room itself and the private client office adjacent to it are wired to provide telephone, Internet, and electrical access, as well as state-of-the-art phone conferencing capabilities. A high-quality audio system provides clear sound in the viewing room and remote monitoring capabilities allow clients who are unable to attend the groups to hear them live from anywhere in the world. Videotaping services are included in the design for a high-quality record of any research project.

Food Service: Full-service catering is available for any type of meal service for respondents and clients. The facility includes a fully-equipped kitchen adjacent to the focus group room to handle test product preparation when necessary.

Respondent Recruiting: Horizon Research International employs only experienced in-house recruiters who are skilled in finding the needed respondents from any demographic or psychographic segment, including hard-to-find business executives and medical professionals. This on-site staff is always proactive in problem identification and resolution and is dedicated to providing responsive client service.

Off-Site Research: We offer experienced recruiting and facility coordination in urban and rural locations throughout Kentucky and across the nation.
